Brian Hartwig

Owner

A native to the area, Brian Hartwig completed auto body training after graduating from West Marshall High School. After several years at Wayne Larsen Collision in Ames, Brian ventured out on his own to build his shop from the ground up on Main Street in State Center in 2003. A large addition in 2012 practically doubled the shop size and added an office and customer reception area. Brian was confident the shop's steady growth would continue.

After eighteen plus years at Brian's Collision Clinic, Brian continues to offer the integrity and quality workmanship our customers have come to expect. Brian and his family enjoy their local community and the small town atmosphere State Center provides.

Matt Snyder

Auto Body Technician

Matt joined BCC not long after Kory, and very quickly Brian knew he was forming an effective team that would last. Matt's work ethic and attention to detail will shine upon the delivery of your vehicle back to you, repaired right the first time. Matt enjoys motocross and keeping up with his young family.

Kevin Larson

Auto Body Specialist

Kevin was born in Ames, Iowa, and lived there until 2016, when he moved to Nevada, Iowa, with his wife, Rhonda.  Kevin has over 30 years of auto body experience. From the beginning, Kevin was taught to repair cars correctly and has become a perfectionist.
Kevin and his wife enjoy bicycling, traveling, scuba diving, boating, and spending time with their family.

Mike Hostetler

Painter

Mike was born and raised in Colo, where he built a life rooted in hard work and family. More than 30 years ago, he discovered his passion for painting cars after buying an old vehicle and deciding to refinish it himself. That experience sparked a career that has kept him working in automotive paint ever since. When he's not in the shop, Mike enjoys spending time with his kids often chasing them from one activity to the next. In his free time he also likes fishing and attending car shows, where he can appreciate the craftmanship and creativity of the automotive world he's been part of for decades.

Matt Randall

Technician

Matt is our semi-retired all-in-one tech.  He lives in Melbourne with his wife, Julie.  They enjoy camping, boating, and spending quality time with their family.

Addison Kerwin

Estimator

Addison enjoys spending her free time rodeoing and training horses. She found her love for fixing up trucks while watching her dad work on an old pickup named Black Bettie. She learned the trade from DMACC in Newton.

Dawn Peterson

Auto Detailer

Originally from Cedar Falls, Iowa, Dawn grew up surrounded by cars and auto work, thanks to her father’s passion for working on vehicles. In the 1990s, she and her family moved to the Hubbard-Radcliffe area, where she raised her children, now grown with families of their own. Dawn currently lives in State Center with her husband, Kevin. Before joining our team, she spent 35 years as a professional horse trainer, a career that demanded precision and a sharp eye for detail. That same meticulous approach now defines her work at the shop, where her dedication to quality and care truly stands out.
